Computer Recycling Centres

Donate Your Computer to Someone in Need

If you are located in Melbourne or Victoria there are a number of computer recycling centres that you can visit to donate your old computer and parts. Most centres in the list below will refurbish your donated computer and then forward it on to someone in need.

If you are outside of Victoria, the Our Community website has a listing of donation points for both statewide and nationwide organisations.


Werx Foundation B2C Recyclers

Recycles computers for community groups only. They accept all forms of IT equipment and peripherals, working or otherwise.Where possible computers are refurbished, otherwise parts are sent to responsible disposal services.

B2c's 'op-shop' is located at Factory 19, 391 Settlement Rd, Thomastown.

The Equipment Recycling Network Inc. (ERNInc)

ERNInc recycle computers and other equipment for people with disabilities and are based in Maroondah. They primarily supply children with a disability at nominal cost to their families.

ERNI are at 17 Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood.

Enhance distribute computers to disadvantaged people in the Bendigo and surrounding regions.

ComputerBank Australia

Computerbank Australia helps organisations to redistribute older donated computers to low-income families, under-resourced community groups and schools. They also help with obtaining computer hardware and training.

Mission Australia

Mission Australia accepts computers from business and individuals to be refurbished by Work for the Dole participants and then donated to disadvantaged groups, families and individuals.
