Visit the 'Going Green Expo'

As a complement to World Environment Day in Melbourne, the Going Green Expo opens at midday on June 5th at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

The motto for this year's Environment Day is- CO2, Kick the Habit.

If you are attending the Going Green Expo, be sure to catch public transport or jump on your bike. The Exhibition Centre is well serviced by trains and trams.

The Expo will showcase new sustainable products hitting the market as well as lots of opportunities to touch, try and even taste products. Yes, there will be earth-friendly beers and wines on offer!

There will be plenty of assistance for those wanting to reduce their carbon footprint in either in the home, office or community. Free seminars on a range of topics will run each day of the Expo and the main door prize is a cool electric Vectrix motorbike valued at over $16 000.

Entry is $15, concession $10, and a $3 discount is available to anyone who brings in a mobile phone to be recycled. I will be there on Friday and looking forward to finding some cool new technologies and products to share.
